We are also going to have some class beans that we will watch germinate.
Today we learnt how to use chalk pastels to create some bright flowers. We combined all our flowers to make a vase full for our classroom wall.
For Inquiry we are planting some bean seeds so that we can watch them germinate. We have learnt that all living things need HOW- heat, oxygen and water.

We did some science problem solving with Mrs O'Leary. We made hydrolic machines.
Our Art topic is "Flowers". We worked in groups to create these amazing collage flowers.
In Room 5 we have been looking at illustrations from books and trying to infer what the illustrations tell us about the story.
A group of Room 5 children did a technology challenge with Mrs Kumar. Their challenge was to create a piece of equipment to catch the class goldfish so that the tank could be cleaned.
I love their efforts. Well planned, created and tested!
